Michelle commenced her legal career in 1989. Whilst working full time in law firms on the Gold Coast, Michelle completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours, made the Dean’s Achievement list and also achieved Joint First Place in Trial Advocacy. Michelle has Certificates of Specialisation in both Commercial & Corporate Law and in General Legal Practice and is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Michelle specialises in Litigation and Family Law, having a special interest in both advocacy and negotiation.
Michelle’s experience has been wide and varied, including having represented many corporate entities including Local Government, a National Magazine, WorkCover Queensland, Suncorp Insurance, RACQ Insurance as well as various Construction companies and Property Developers.
Michelle is the immediate past President of the Sunshine Coast Law Association and has been involved in extensive charity work as well as work involving secondary school students and the law. Michelle continues to serve as a Volunteer Solicitor for the Sunshine Coast Community Legal Service, having done so on the Sunshine Coast for almost 10 years.
